Holy 35 year reunion Batman! I knew when I made the name tags there would be a lot of people attending. What I didn't realize until the pictures were posted, is how many people I didn't get to visit with. I am sorry I missed so many alumni. You'll all have to come to the 2011 shindig so I can make amends! Of course, I expect there to be even more attendees so that will make it much harder to touch base with everyone. I suppose I can live with that knowing those I don't get a chance to visit with will be busy catching up with their old buddies. Sooooo....I'll hardly be missed. Which I can certainly live with as long as everyone is having fun. To those who attended...thank you so much. As Toni said earlier, it's you who made the reunion a success. The committee would have been pretty lonely had no one shown up. Not to mention look silly to boot. While Toni, Liz, Larry and I are working on the next reunion you'll also have homework. Help us find those on the missing list. Most importantly of all, start working on the alumni you are in touch with that didn't attend this reunion. Help us light the fire under them and get them to the 40 year party. Take care everyone. Be safe...we are putting a ban on adding alumni to the Memory Board. That means you've got to stay healthy. Finally, please, please, please, feel free to post anything you'd like to say on this message board. No voyeurs allowed. We want to hear from all of you.

I attended the memorial service for Mrs. Frey. Just about everyone there had purple on! It was pretty interesting to hear what she did AFTER she left Marina. The chapel and the overflow room were both full. All the flowers were purple, of course. I left at 1:00 and people were still standing in line to talk. She was a very popular lady.
No comments from anyone but this IS the business i'm in so these things interest me!

Aloha!!! Back on the Big Island!! It was fabulous to see all of you! I flew back to Nothern California, just for this reunion, so was thrilled to see some faces that were not at the 2001 reunion. Many, many thanks to the reunion committee. What a lovely job you did. Everything was wonderful!!! THANK YOU!!! I didn't bring pictures to the reunion, and have ONE of my daughter and niece and none of my son..(he's coming tomorrow so I will hog tie the little nuts, and make him take a picture with his mum).... so I will share my daughter's for now. She is the one seated. www.boomspeed.com/JennMeg.jpgLastly, Maureen Mosser was unable to attend the reunion as her parents are in poor health and she has been running back and forth from Ventura to San Leandro trying to take care of things, while working full time. She had some question, as follows: "Oh, and if you run into Mike Avila at the reunion, get his phone number or address for me. We lost touch. Also, if you can find out how Rick (my old boyfriend) Drury died, I would greatly appreciate it. That's all for now. Huggs, Mo" If anyone can help, please e-mail me and I'll pass the information on to Maureen!!! MAHALO!!

Hi ya Monica!
I'll contact you privately with the information on Mike. He was at El Torito's the night before the reunion. He hasn't changed much. You'd recognize him if you passed him on the street.
Maybe you can give me more detailed information on Maureen and how to contact her. I only have a P.O. Box for our Reunion File.
Patti Brown-Ward (1/4 of your Reunion Committee) ;D
